Your student has already scheduled an in-person interview for the Green Office Ambassadors program at Green Office in downtown Decatur. This page shares key details ahead of the interview so expectations are clear.

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the interview, but attendance is not required.

What Is Green Office Ambassadors?

Green Office Ambassadors is a student community opportunity that helps young people build confidence, communication skills, and real-world experience while representing a local business.

Ambassadors engage with the community at supervised, public locations in and around Decatur.

When Participation Takes Place

If approved, students may participate:

  • After school

  • During school breaks

  • On weekends (depending on event schedules)

All shifts are scheduled in advance and take place in public, pre-approved locations.

Interview Experience (45 Minutes)

The interview includes:

  • A walkthrough of the Green Office space

  • A conversation about interest, availability, and expectations

  • Time in a golf bay to experience the technology, golf skill is not evaluated

This experience helps students understand the value of the membership they may earn.

Compensation & Benefits

This is not a traditional hourly job.

Ambassadors are compensated through:

  • A Junior Greenie membership (indoor golf access, valued at $75/month)

  • Performance-based cash bonuses, earned through participation and engagement

Membership remains active while the student is in good standing.

Participation is open to high school and college students who meet Georgia youth work eligibility requirements. For students ages 14–15, a work permit is required.

Commitment Expectations

If approved, students are expected to:

  • Commit to at least 10 hours per month

  • Arrive on time and stay for full shifts

  • Represent Green Office with professionalism and respect

Safety & Supervision

  • All activities take place in public, pre-approved locations

  • Students work in pairs or small groups

  • Clear expectations and guidance are provided

  • Parents/guardians are welcome to attend the interview

Program Leadership

Green Office is led by Corinne Milien, a longtime leader in early career development and experiential learning. Corinne has spent her career creating hands-on opportunities that help students gain real-world skills, build confidence, and better understand professional environments.

Why We Collect This Information

This form helps us:

  • Confirm parent/guardian awareness before the interview

  • Share expectations clearly and early

  • Streamline next steps if the student is approved

  • Final participation begins only after the interview, completion of a short knowledge check, and confirmation of consent.
